Abby (almost 8) and Molly (6) are the daughters of Ramy & Cathy Brooks. They both enjoy outdoor activities.

Abby is in first grade at Tri-Valley School in Healy and is active in hockey, awanas, and dance. She loves to ride her bike, go sledding (including dog sledding) and is learning how to cross-country ski. She has already won her first dog race and is hoping to get the opportunity to do more. She has told her mom that she wants to be either a dog musher or a nurse when she grows up. She is quick to mention that she is allowed to change her mind between now and when she grows up.

Molly loves to read books and go to story-time at the Tri-Valley Library. She has already gone cross-country skiing this winter and can't wait to go ice-skating. She enjoys playing with the pet dog, Arla, and having Buster, the cat, follow her around as well. She misses her big sister while she is at school but also enjoys the undivided attention. She also loves to sing and listen to music. She often prepares bags of clothes from her dresser for "tomorrow day". She is the planner of the family.

Both the girls love to spend time with their grandparents and enjoy all the spoiling that they do. The girls will travel to the start in Anchorage as well as the finish in Nome.
