Handler's Cabin

This was built during the summer of 1999 to provide housing for the help. Handlers come to the kennel wanting to learn about mushing and to be a part of the daily kennel life. We have run electricity to the cabin from the generator, but no running water.

Entrance to Main Kennel

We have the front of the kennel completely fenced. Mainly for safety reasons with our young children and visitors. Visitors not only include the human kind, but the four legged kind as well. We have wolves, moose, and bears, among others, that regularly migrate through the area.

Straw Barn/ Sled Storage

This was the only new addition to the kennel in 2000. This allows us to protect the straw and gear from the elements - including the occasional strong winds.

Dog Pot

This offers us a way of boiling fish and rice to supplement the dogs dry food.
