Kami Kennels Virtual Tour

Kennel Sign

First thing you see as you crest the hill into Kami Kennels. The sign was done by Fairbanks Sign and Graphics Company.

Winter Mountain View

As you stand at the kennel sign you have a view of the surrounding hills and mountains in Healy.

Our Cabin

Our cabin sits just beyond the kennel sign at the top of our driveway hill. We have electric lighting in the lower level but no running water.

Sauna & Generator Shop

These buildings are vital to our daily life. Before we had the well we would haul water everyday from Healy in 50 gallon barrels and off load it into the sauna where we kept a wood stove burning to keep the water thawed to use. The generator shop houses the 8KW generator we use for electricity. It also contains most of Ramy's race gear, a small kennel office and the vet supplies. If the need arises, it provides a warm environment for treating sick or injured animals.
